Caroline’s 10/10 Coconut Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Usually when I add in recipes to the newspaper, I have a fun seasonal theme or recipes that connect in some way. Today I just have the best banana bread recipe that I’ve ever made, and I wanted to share it with the world because everyone deserves delicious banana bread—unless you are allergic to bananas!


3 mashed bananas

2 eggs

1/4 cup yogurt

1/4 cup coconut sugar

1/2 Tbsp ACV

1 1/2 Tbsp melted coconut oil

3/4 cup coconut flour 

1/4 cup shredded coconut

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup chocolate chips

Many more chocolate chips and shredded coconut for topping


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine all ingredients and stir well.
  3. Pour into the loaf pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle on more chocolate chips and shredded coconut.
  4. Bake 29-32 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
